  1. Hello Nick, good to see you at Questors on Sat. This is the open mic in Brentford I was on about:
    http://www.richardgregory.org.uk/music/openmic/globe.htm
They also have inevitably a Facebook group
When I went it was all musical acts but they are open to poetry if ever the fancy takes you.

  2. Please could you give me a contact address for Daphne Gloag? I would love to use her poem “Oranges and Walnuts” on my blog, so it can feature on The Tuesday Poem website.

    Many thanks, Belinda Hollyer (admin@belindahollyer.com)

  3. John Pursaill

Very good to read references to Anne Furneaux and her wry contributions to Pitshanger Poets. I have most pleasant and positive memories (from the 1960s/70s) of Anne Furneaux, a fellow academic lawyer at (then) Ealing College of Higher Education (I was at St Albans and Luton). I wonder is poet Anne Furneaux perhaps the same person and, if so, would she like to be in touch with (now) musician/violin teacher John Pursaill? Would of course quite understand if she would rather not.

I much enjoy your blog and sometimes go to similar gatherings in Manchester.
